ESH | ELECTRIC GUITAR/BASS | ESH basses and guitars were available with many different options. Most models are available in either four-, five-, and six-string configurations and other options are available at additional prices. The Hero was the entry level model in the ESH series. It has basic features including two single coil pickups and last retailed at $789 for the four-string and $889 for the 5-string. The Various, Impact, and Stinger, are all available in the same configurations at the same prices. The four-string last retailed for $1,639, the five-string at $1,799, and the six-string for $1,899. The Notorious I bass has a Music Man-style offset double cutaway body, while the Notorious II model is a Jazz bass-style body. Both models feature a select Hungarian ash body, maple neck, maple or rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets and dot inlay, soapbar (or two J-style or J/soapbar) pickups, volume and tone controls, and an oil/wax finish. Prices are $1,549 for the four-string, and $1,649 for the five-string on both the Notorious I & II models. The Sovereigns are higher-end basses that are built out of Hungarian ash.Their basic features are fairly elaborate and they have Kent Armstrong pickups. The four-string last retailed for $2,300, the five-string for $2,500, and the six-string for $2,699. The Genuine moves you to an even higher price point. This model also has Hungarian ash as well as other features. The four-string started at $3,400, five-string at $3,700, and the six-string at $3,900. The Serious series of models are available at the same price as the Genuine's except that the four-string costs $100 more than its Genuine counterpart ($3,500). The Genuine guitar was available in a six-string version for $1,280, and a seven-string for $1,495. | |
