The Dawson Bass (Model 40E62) was a hollow, 335-style model (retail list $130). This model had two f-holes, bound fingerboard with white block inlay, fixed bridge, chrome hardware, four-on-a-side headstock, two pickups, volume/tone controls, three-way pickup selector toggle switch. The Dawson Bass was available in Gunmetal Red, Yellow Sunburst, Sunburst Walnut, Silver, Red, or Golden-mist finish. Domino's Silverhawk Bass was similar to the Dawson Bass, except featured unbound fingerboard with dot inlay, metal bridge with wood feet/metal tailpiece, two-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, volume and tone controls, and two toggle switches (one on bass bout, one on treble bout, both have an individual pickguard). Silverhawk models were available in White, Sunburst Red, Metallic Blue, Black, or Deep Red finish. The Silverhawk Bass model was offered as the one pickup Model 22E61 (retail list $110) and the two pickup Model 22E62 (list $130).
