| All VooDoo series custom basses feature the Novax fanned fret system on the fingerboards. This system is licensed from famed inventor/luthier Ralph Novak, and contributes a more accurate intonation and harmonic system to the staggered bridge design developed by Dingwall. Dingwall basses all have an innovative bridge design that allows each string the proper scale length to achieve optimum tone. Thus, the scale length is staggered from the low B string (37 in.) up to the G string (34 in.) on a five string bass. Basses built prior to the fire featured 9-ply laminated necks and Kahler/Dingwall custom bridges. Since the fire and re-tooling, basses now feature a five-ply laminated maple neck, a new 3 band switchable EQ, and Dingwall bridge. There are several options available to every basic model.
