The Vintage models offered a sleek single cutaway body design with finishes and parts that seem right at home in the vintage guitar market. The TV Contour was offered with either one single coil pickup (Single, last retail was $2,250) or two (Double, last retail was $2,350). Both models had a Honduran mahogany body and neck, a Vintage limed mahogany finish, rosewood fingerboard, and a wrap-around stud tailpiece.
The Mary K. (last retail was $2,250) combined a swamp ash body with a maple bolt-on neck, gold hardware, a See-Through Blonde finish, and three EMG-SV single coils.
Change the finish to a butterscotch lacquer, substitute a pair of EMG-T pickups and a black vintage-styled pickguard, and the results would be the Black Guard model (last retail was $2,150).
