 DEMARINO | | ELECTRIC: CONTOUR SERIES | The Contour Standard (last retail was $2,715) offerd a cutaway alder or ash body, a maple set-in neck, rosewood fingerboard, Sperzel tuners, EMG pickups, and either a DeMarino custom bridge or Wilkinson tremolo system.
The Contour Custom (last retail was $3,240) upgraded the body woods to a Honduran mahogany body and set-in neck, as well as a figured maple top and an ebony fingerboard. A DeMarino fixed bridge and a hand rubbed nitrocellulose finish completed the package.
On a slightly different note, the Contour Pro (last retail was $2,400) consisted of an alder body, a maple bolt-on neck with rosewood fingerboard, and a Wilkinson tremolo combined with locking Sperzel tuners (a Floyd Rose locking tremolo system is optional). | |
