ELECTRIC: SS SERIES

The SS model was introduced in 1998, and features an offset double cutaway body similar to a superstrat design. Dean's Practice Pack (Model DGP-GPP1) is an all-in-one starter system that includes an SS-One electric guitar, a Stack in the Box headphone amp, a guitar strap, Dean picks, and a guitar tuner. This complete package retailed for $349. The Stagecoach (Model DGP-GSP2) is a similar all-in-one starter system that includes an SS-One electric guitar, a Dean Mean 16 guitar amp, a guitar strap, Dean picks, and a guitar tuner. This complete package retailed for $449.

SS-ONE (MODEL DGK-SS1)

- offset double cutaway basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, two-point floating tremolo, graphite nut, small offset V-shaped wood peghead with screened logo, 3-per-side Grover tuners, chrome hardware, white pearloid pickguard, two single coil/humbucker pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-way switch, available in Classic Black, Trans. Blue, or Trans. Red finish, mfg. 1998-99.

SS PLUS (MODEL DGK-SS+)

- similar to the SS-One, except features flame maple top and matching headstock, available in Flame Black, Flame Blue, Flame Braziliaburst, Flame Cherry Sunburst, Flame Red, Metallic Black, Metallic Charcoal, or Metallic Red finish, mfg. 1998-99.

SS ULTRA (MODEL DGK-SSUL)

- similar to the SS-One, except features 24-fret fingerboard, no pickguard, licensed Floyd Rose tremolo, and matching headstock, available in Metallic Black, Metallic Green, Metallic Purple, or Metallic Red finish, mfg. 1998-99.
