ELECTRIC: D SERIES
The D Series/DS model guitars were produced in Korea from 1994 to 1996. Their body designs were similar to the 1990s Series models, except they reverted to the three-per-side shrimp fork type headstock instead of 6-per-side tuners. D Series models have four-bolt neckplates.
DS 87
- similar to the DS 90, except has 3 single coil pickups, 6-on-a-side headstock, chrome hardware, white pickguard, available in Classic Black, Classic Red, or Vintage Sunburst finishes, mfg. 1996-97.
DS 90
- offset double cutaway hardwood body, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl wings inlay, standard vibrato, blackface peghead with screened logo, 3-per-side tuners, black hardware, 2 single coil/1 humbucker pickups, 1 volume/2 tone controls, 5-position switch, available in Black, Red, or White finishes, mfg. 1994-96.
DS 91
- similar to DS 90, except has alder body, bound carved top, double locking Floyd Rose vibrato, humbucker/single coil/humbucker pickups, available in Black Flame Maple, Burgundy Flame Maple, Metallic Black, or Vintage Sunburst finishes, mfg. 1994-96.
DS 92
- similar to DS 90, except has carved maple top, double locking Floyd Rose vibrato, gold hardware, six on a side tuners, available in Black Flame Maple, Burgundy Flame Maple, Metallic Black, or Vintage Sunburst finishes, mfg. 1994-96.
