CODE | Instruments previously manufactured in New Jersey during the 1950s. | Luthier John D'Angelico supplied finished necks to the Code (pronounced ko-day) company for a series of plywood body guitars (Model G-7) that bear the D'Angelico trademark. The D'Angelico/Code guitars were similar in appearance to Gibson's ES-175. Source: Paul William Schmidt, Acquired of the Angels. | |
