The American Elite Series was available in four-string (Last MSR $2,995), five-string (Last MSR $3,195), six-string (Last MSR $3,395), and seven-string (Last MSR $3,595) configurations. The International Elite was disc. in 2006 and it features an offset double cutaway mahogany body, hand-carved exotic wood top, bolt-on Rockwood neck, 24-fret Rockwood fingerboard with white dot inlays, two-per-side headstock, quick release bridge, Sperzel tuners, Bartolini Split-Coil pickup, volume/blend/3-band EQ controls, variable Midrange switch, slap contour switch, available in Amethyst Glow, Cocoa Burst, Grape Burst, Honey Burst, Scarlet Glow, or Turquoise Glow finish, also available in a Clear Coat or Oil and Wax finish. The International Elite Series was available in four-string (Last MSR $4,895), five-string (Last MSR $5,195), six-string (Last MSR $5,495), and seven-string (Last MSR $5,795) configurations. The Grande Elite was disc. in 2005 and it is similar to the International Elite, except features an 18-volt 3-band EQ system, available in Amethyst Glow, Cocoa Burst, Grape Burst, Honey Burst, Scarlet Glow, or Turquoise Glow finish, also available in a Clear Coat or Oil and Wax finish. The Grande Elite Series was available in four-string (Last MSR $3,495), five-string (Last MSR $3,795), six-string (Last MSR $4,095), and seven-string (Last MSR $4,395) configurations. The Retro/Retro 3 was introduced in 1997 and updated to the Retro 3 in 2006. It features an offset double cutaway maple or Swamp ash body, bolt-on Rockwood Lite neck, 24-fret Rockwood neck with white dot inlays, brass bridge, Sperzel tuners, Bartolini pickup, volume/treble/mid/bass controls, active 9-volt 3-band parametric EQ system, and available in an oil finish. The Retro/Retro 3 Series is available in four-string (MSR $3,695), five-string (MSR $3,995), and six-string (MSR $4,495) configurations. The Retro II is similar to the Retro/Retro 3, except it has two Bartolini J-style pickups and passive electronics. The Retro II Series is available in four-string (MSR $3,295), five-string (MSR $3,594), and six-string (MSR $4,095) configurations. Both the Grande and International Elite Series basses feature a handcarved top of cherry, figured maple, rock maple, walnut, wenge, or zebra wood.
