- offset double cutaway Strat-style basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, six-on-one-side tuners, JT-480 standard vibrato, white pickguard, three single coil Jackson pickups, two knobs (v, tone), five-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, available in Black, Bright Red, Deep Metallic Blue, or Snow White finish, mfg. 1992-94.

CX291

- similar to the CX290, except has a humbucker pickup in the bridge position, mfg. 1992-94.

CX390

- offset double cutaway Strat-style basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, six-on-one-side tuners, JT-580 double locking vibrato, black pickguard, two single coil (neck, middle) and one humbucker (bridge) Jackson pickups, two knobs (v, tone), five-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, available in Black, Bright Red, Deep Metallic Blue, or Snow White finish, mfg. 1992-94.

CX391

- similar to the CX390, except has a humbucker in the neck position for pickups in HSH configuration, mfg. 1992-94.
