Celinder focused mainly on the J-Series until the year 2000. Since then, they have several new series out. On the J and P Series there are several options that are available. Left-hand and Fretless models are all available at no cost. Other options such as wood choices, electronics, etc. are available at additional costs. The J Series are models that are bassed off of Fender Jazz Bass. The J Classic 4 is a string bass that is a standard model bassed on the 1960 J bass and retails for $2,795. The J Vintage 4 and 5 are early 1960s designs and retail at $2,850 for the four string and $3,050 for the five string. The J Update is based around the late '70s Jazz Bass and retails for $2,950 for the four string and $3,150 for the five string. The J Miller Tribute is a model based on Marcus Miller's '77 Jazz Bass. This model comes in four-string for $3,850 and $4,050 for the five-string. The J Graham Tribute is inspired by Mr. Graham's White Moon bass. This also comes in four- and five-string variations retailing for $3,950 and $4,150, respectively.
After the success of the J Series basses, Celinder released the P Series, which are models that are based on the Fender Precision Bass. This series starts with the P Classic 4 , which is a standard P-Bass from around 1957. This model lists for $2,695. The P Vintage 4 and 5 are based on early 1960s Fender Precision basses and retail for $2,650 and $2,850, respectively. The P Update 4 and 5 are P-Basses that are based on the mid to late 1970s models. These retail for $2,750 and $2,950, respectively.
The AURA series are models that are built with some higher quality woods. The AURA comes in four, five, and six string models. The body of these guitars are made out of Brazilian mahogany. They retail for $4,200, $4,550, and $4,700 respectively.
The Custom Series are high-end instrument where the customer is invited to use his/her creative processess and create a guitar that is truly unique to the player. This concept is the original idea that dates back to 1985, even before the company was started. The customer is the one who comes up with all the options on the guitar. The base price starts out at $4,300 for a four-string (disc.), $4,600 for a five-string, and $4,900 for a six-string or the octa8 (disc.).
