 CALLAHAM VINTAGE GUITARS | | ELECTRIC | Callaham Vintage Guitars' reproductions are based on Fender-style solid body electrics. Callaham's S Model, which is a Strat design, features either a one-piece alder (solid color finishes) or one-piece Swamp ash (for Sunburst and Blonde finishes) offset double cutaway bodies, with bolt-on curly maple necks and rosewood fingerboards. The necks are available in four different contours (like Fender) including the 54 Club, 57 Vee, 58 Soft Vee, and 60 Flat Round. Lindy Fralin single coil Vintage Pickups are used on all S Models, combined with a five-way selector switch and volume/2 tone controls. S Models feature nickel vintage reproduction parts, and are available in 2-Tone or 3-Tone Sunbursts, Blonde, Black, Burgundy Purple Mist, Firemist Gold Metallic, Lake Placid Blue, Ocean Turquoise, and Shoreline Gold nitrocellulose, among other custom lacquer finishes. Retail list price is $2,850 and case is included.
The T Model (retail list $2,725) features a single cutaway Tele-style body with a one-piece swamp ash body, necks available in the same four configurations as the S Model, Lindy Fralin Tele-style pickups, and is available in a variety of finishes. | |
