Barney offers three versions of his Jazzmaker Series archtop guitars. The Jazzmaker I (Sunburst finish MSR $4,100, Natural finish MSR $4,300) features a hand carved top and back, figured maple back and sides, four-line top binding, one-line back/fingerboard/headstock binding, small fingerboard markers, unbound f-holes, ebony tailpiece and pickguard, and is available in 16 in. and 17 in.body widths. The Jazzmaker II (Sunburst finish MSR $4,900, Natural finish MSR $5,200) is the standard custom model that has a hand carved top and back, highly figured maple back and sides, seven-line top binding, four-line back/fingerboard/headstock binding, block fingerboard markers, bound f-holes, inlaid and engraved headstock, ebony bridge and tailpiece and pickguard, and is available in 16 in. and 17 in.body widths. The Jazzmaker Deluxe (Sunburst finish MSR $5,800, Natural finish MSR $6,100) is similar to the Jazzmaker II, except has exceptionally figured maple back and sides; seven-line binding on top, back, and headstock, split block fingerboard inlay, four-line binding on fingerboard and f-holes, inlaid ebony heel cap, and inlaid ebony veneer on the back of headstock.
The OV Jazz Model (disc., Last MSR was $2,600 to $3,400) is an oval soundhole guitar similar to the 1960s Howard Robert Epiphone model.
The Sal Salvador Artist (MSR $6,200) is based on the third model Barney built for Salvador, and is the second Artist model design (the first design was created in 1981). The model has an Adirondack spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, abalone/pearl split block fingerboard inlay/headstock/heel cap. The ebony tailpiece and pickguard also have decorative inlays. This model is available with a built-in pickup, or with a floating pickup. The body width is 16 in., and the body depth 2.75 in.depth. The Salvadore Artist model is available with a Natural top/tinted back and sides, Natural, and four-color Sunburst finishes.
