 BOGART | | Instruments previously built in Germany from 1991 to the late 1990s. Previously distributed by Salwender. | Bogart has been producing high quality basses since 1991. Models feature a patented Blackstone material for the bodies and bolt-on graphite necks. Bogart basses have Bartolini pickups, solid brass bridge (with fine tuners) and Schaller tuning machines.
The Blackstone material consists of a wood core surrounded by epoxy foam. However, the neck, pickups, and hardware all bolt to the wood core.
