BENEDETTO GUITARS ELECTRIC: WAVE SERIES The Wave Series was the top of the Benedetto 1986-1987 electric solid body line, and featured one guitar model and one bass guitar model. The specifications are similar to the 3000 Series instruments, except featured a choice of exotic wood (quilted and highly figured curly maple, burl, etc.), ebony fingerboard, EMG active electronics, and upgraded hardware. A limited number of the custom Wave instruments were produced. The base retail list price in 1987 was $999.
