BASSLINE ELECTRIC BASS The Buster Art-Line models are set-neck, while the Buster Bolt-On is a bolt-neck design. Both versions feature Gotoh/ETS tuners, EMG or Seymour Duncan pickups, and are available in four-, five-, and six-string versions. After ten years of research and development, Bassline introduced the Universal electric upright model. The Universal (last MSR was $5,659) has an enlarged neck for stability and tone. Equipped with piezo and magnetic pickups, this 36 in. scale instrument is constructed of one-piece flamed maple body and curved ebony fingerboard, and flamed maple bridge/ebony string holders. Models are available in four- and five-string configurations, and can be played both arco or pizz-style upright.
