BASS COLLECTION ELECTRIC BASS A few models had an optional ash body with Trans. Red finish. SB301/SB302 - offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret (Model SB301) or fretless (Model SB302) rosewood fingerboard, fixed bridge, two-per-side Gotoh tuners, black hardware, P/J-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), available in Black, Magenta, Metallic Grey, or Sunburst finish, mfg. 1985-1992. SB305/SB305FL Five-String - similar to SB301/SB302, except in five-string configuration, and two J-style pickups, mfg. 1985-1992. SB401/SB402 - offset double cutaway basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret (Model SB401) or fretless (Model SB402) rosewood fingerboard, fixed bridge, two-per-side Gotoh tuners, black hardware, P/J-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), active electronics, 2-band EQ, available in Black, Metallic Red, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1985-1992. SB405 Five-String - similar to SB401, except has 5-string configuration, 2 J-style pickups, mfg. 1985-1992. SB501/SB502 - offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on 3-piece maple neck, 24-fret (Model SB501) or fretless (Model SB502) ebony fingerboard, fixed bridge, two-per-side tuners, black hardware, P/J-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), active electronics with 2-band EQ, available in Black, Natural, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1985-1992. SB505 Five-String - similar to SB501, except has 5-string configuration, mfg. 1985-1992. SB611/SB612 - offset double cutaway asymmetrical maple body with padauk or walnut top, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret (Model SB611) or fretless (Model SB612) ebony fingerboard, fixed bridge, two-per-side Gotoh tuners, gold hardware, P/J-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), active electronics with 2-band EQ, available in Oil finishes, mfg. 1985-1992. SB615 Five-String - similar to SB611, except has 5-string configuration, mfg. 1985-1992. DB41R - asymmetrical double cutaway ash body, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlay, fixed bridge, two-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, two J-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), available in Trans. Black or Trans. Red finish, mfg. 1991-92. DB51R - similar to DB41R, except in five-string configuration, mfg. 1991-92. DB43E - similar to DB41R, except has padauk/maple/mahogany laminated or walnut/maple/mahogany laminated body, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, two humbucker pickups, available in Oil finishes, mfg. 1991-92. DB53E - similar to DB43E, except in five-string configuration, available in Oil finishes, mfg. 1991-92.
