B.C. RICH ELECTRIC BASS: INNOVATOR SERIES The Innovator Bass model was introduced in 1987. INNOVATOR BASS 4 (U.S. NTB) - offset double cutaway maple/purpleheart body, maple through-body neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone block inlay, fixed bridge, four-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, two Seymour Duncan Bassline soapbar pickups, two volume/blend/tone controls, active electronics, available in Natural Hand-Rubbed Oil finish, 34 in. scale, mfg. 1987-1998. Innovator Bass 5 Five-String (U.S. NTB) - similar to Innovator Bass 4, except in five-string configuration and 3/2-per-side tuners, disc. 1998. Innovator Bass 6 Six-String (U.S. NTB) - similar to Innovator Bass 4, except in six-string configuration, through-body maple neck with rosewood stringers, ebony fingerboard with pearl cloud inlay, three-per-side tuners, and two humbucker Bartolini pickups, disc. 1997. INNOVATOR (U.S. BOLT-ON NECK) - offset double cutaway swamp ash body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret pau ferro fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, fixed bridge, blackface peghead with logo, four-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, Seymour Duncan Bassline soapbar pickup, volume/tone controls, active electronics, available in Black, Creme, Porsche Red, or White finish, 34 in.scale, disc. 1998. INB-104 INNOVATOR BASS - offset double cutaway solid ash and maple body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, fixed bridge, four-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, two active soapbar pickups, three controls (two v, tone), three-way selector, available in Black, Natural, Red, or White finish, 34 in.scale, disc. 1998. INB-105 Innovator Bass Five-String - similar to the INB-104 Innovator Bass, except in five-string configuration and 3/2-per-side tuners, disc. 1998. INNOVATOR (NJ SERIES) - offset double cutaway chesswood body with AAA quilted maple top, five-ply maple/walnut neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays, matching headstock with two-per-side tuners, standard bridge, two EMG pickups, four knobs, active electronics, gold hardware, available in Natural or Trans. Aqua finish, mfg. 2003-06. Innovator Five-String (NJ Series) - similar to the Innovator, except in five-string configuration with 3/2-per-side tuners, mfg. 2003-06.
