ARPEGGIO KORINA
Instruments currently built in Pennsylvania since 1995. Distributed by the Arpeggio Korina Guitar Company, a division of Arpeggio Music, Inc.
Ron and Marsha Kayfield have been running Arpeggio Music, Inc. since 1992. Their music shop deals in new, used, and vintage guitars and amplifiers. Arpeggio Music also offers new and vintage refinishing, as well as restoration and repairs.
In 1995, Ron introduced the Korina model, which combines the best features of earlier guitar models in one new versatile package. Guitar players may note the stingray-shaped 3+3 headstock design and arrow-shaped truss rod cover. The access to the truss rod has been moved back away from the nut to avoid the potential weak neck syndrome inherent in other designs. Headstocks are tilted back 17 degrees, and the neck has custom-shaped '50s or '60s neck profiles. The Arpeggio Korina Guitar company also offers custom inlay in both abalone and mother-of-pearl (call for price quote) on their handmade guitars. Arpeggio also sells factory direct on their website. For more information, contact Arpeggio Korina directly or visit their website (see Trademark Index).
