AMERICAN SHOWSTER
Instruments previously built in Bayville, NJ, between 1987 and 2004 and in Czechoslovakia between 1997 and 2004.
The American Showster company first debuted the tailfin-bodied AS-57 solid body guitar at the NAMM show in the late 1980s. In addition to the original model, Bill Meeker, David Seal, and Richard Haines introduced other exciting guitar designs. American Showster guitars were also available with custom graphics. In 1997, they introduced the Standard Series of guitars that were produced in Czechoslovokia.
