Abilene builds guitars based on popular American designs. The AS10 series are based off of Fender Stratocaster designs. The ALK35 series are also Stratocaster shaped but of the Showmaster caliber. For the cheap-o who likes Gibson, Abilene has "LP" models as well: the ASL 21 GS (slab body, 2 humbuckers), the ALSE 450 HS (arched top, raised pickguard), and the ASL22 . Abilene is also responsible for an SG-based design, a telecaster, a 335 Gibson style, and various other models.
Abilene also got their feet wet with bass guitars as well. The AB-11 series are based on the Fender Precision bass. They have the AYBE5 series as well, which aren't really based on anything and feature 5-strings. There are other various models as well.
