ELECTRIC BASS: SWB SERIES

SWB basses were compact electric upright instruments equipped with Fishman pickups and Aria electronics. Original production was handled by the Aria Pro Custom Shop.

SWB 01

- sleek upright alder body, bolt-on neck, 41 1/3 in. scale, darkened maple fingerboard, 2-per-side slotted rounded headstock, maple bridge, Aria piezo pickup, chrome hardware, available in Black finish, disc. 1994.

SWB 02

- sleek upright alder body, bolt-on neck, 41 1/3 in. scale, darkened maple fingerboard, 2-per-side slotted scroll headstock, maple bridge, Fishman BP-100 pickup, chrome hardware, available in Antique Violin color finish, disc. 1994.

SWB 02/5 Five-String

- similar to SWB 02, except in five-string configuration, 2/3-per-side slotted scroll headstock, both Fishman BP-100 and BIR individual pickups, volume/active treble/active bass controls, pickup selector switch, disc. 1994.

SWB 04

- similar to SWB 02, except has alder back, maple carved top, ebony fingerboard, both Fishman BP-100 and BIS individual pickups, two f-holes, volume/attack/active treble/active bass controls, BIS and piezo on/off switches, BIS and piezo sensing controls, available in Brown Sunburst or Vintage Sunburst finish, current mfg.

SWB LITE

- thin, stand-up style alder body, bolt-on maple neck, black maple fingerboard, open-style headstock, two-per-side banjo-style tuners, adjustable maple bridge, one Fishman MIS-CEL piezo pickup, three knobs (v, b, t), active electronics, chrome hardware, end pin, available in Black, Candy Apple Red, Oak, or Wine Red finish, current mfg.
