These AVB models were designed in collaboration with bassist Steve Bailey and Trev Wilkinson. Steve Bailey AVB bass models debuted in 1994.

- offset double cutaway ash body, tortoiseshell pickguard, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, fixed bridge, 4-on-a-side tuners, pearl black hardware, 2 J-style Basslines by Seymour Duncan pickups, volume/concentric treble/bass controls, USA Seymour Duncan active electronics, available in 3-Tone Sunburst finish, mfg. 1994-2002.

6 AVB SB 5 D

- similar to 6 AVB SB 4 D, except in 5-string configuration, 4/1-per-side tuners, available in Three Tone Sunburst finish, mfg. 1994-2002.

6 AVB SB 6 D

- similar to 6 AVB SB 4 D, except in 6-string configuration, 4/2-per-side tuners, black hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, available in Three Tone Sunburst finish, mfg. 1994-2002.
