 WASHBURN | | ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC: MIRAGE/SOLIDBODY MODELS (CB/SBC/SBF SERIES) | | The Mirage Series was introduced in 1984 as the original acoustic/electric solidbody line. After a short period, the Mirage Series was changed to the Solid Body Folk (SBF) and Solid Body Classic (SBC) Series. There are no differences in the construction/design of the series. In 1987, a Tele- and Strat-look alike solidbody acoustics were introduced. The SBS20 looked like a Stratocaster and the SBT21 look like a Telecaster. They both had pointed headstocks with six-on-one-side tuners.
