Instruments currently produced in China. Currently distributed by Musiquip Inc. in Dorval, Quebec Canada. Tanglewood Guitar Co. UK is part produced by the European Music Company (EMC), Ltd. of Kent, England. Tanglewood Guitar Co. UK has been producing guitars since the early 1990s.

The European Music Company, Ltd. offers a wide range of acoustic guitars under the Tanglewood trademark, as well as several electric models, mandolins, and banjos (although these are not carried by the Musiquip Inc.). Currently, the North American line ranges from entry-level instruments to handcrafted, all-solid wood models, and consists of five series of acoustic guitars: MasterDesign, Heritage, Sundance, Premier, and Evolution. Various body shapes are offered, including Dreadnought, Super Folk, Super Jumbo, Auditorium, Parlor, Traveler, and Acoustic Bass models. Tanglewood Guitar Co. UK instruments are very popular in England and throughout Europe where they have been available since the early 1990s. The brand only appeared in North America in the mid-2000s.
