The following information is offered as a guideline to the available models produced by luthier Sakashta. The Avalon features a 17 in. single cutaway body constructed of AAA quarter-sawn Sitka spruce top and AA Eastern rock maple sides and matching back. The neck is one piece Honduran mahogany neck with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and pearl inlays. The Avalon also has either an ebony or rosewood tailpiece, and a rosewood bridge, pickguard, and peghead overlay. The Karizma also features 17 in. single cutaway body. The top is built of AAA quarter-sawn Englemann spruce, and has sides and matching back of AA Eastern rock maple. The neck again is one piece Honduran mahogany, with East Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. The Karizma has either an ebony or rosewood tailpiece, rosewood bridge, pickguard, and peghead overlay. | |
