SANDNER
Instruments previously produced between 1947 and 1958.
The Sandner trademark can be found on a series of acoustic archtops. These models may have "Alosa" or "Standard" on the headstock (or tailpiece). Company was founded by Alois Sandner in Egerland, Germany (now part of the Czech Republic) and initially operated as a cottage industry. Since 1953, the factory has been located in Bubenreuth, Germany, and it had three employees until 1958. They offered approximately twenty models with a total production of less than 500 pieces. The company still manufactures stringed instruments, but no longer produces guitars.
