ROLF SPULER Instruments currently produced in Switzerland. Distributed in the U.S. by Fine Guitar Consultants in San Diego, CA. Swiss luthier Rolf Spuler builds a variety of guitars and basses in his shop. He is probably best known in the U.S. for designing the Ibanez Affirma Bass series that was produced in the early 1990s. As far as acoustic instruments, Spuler offers the Paradis model. In the mid-2000s, Spuler along with BridgeCo developed the first guitar to utilize firewire. This allowed the user to connect the guitar directly to a computer and track each string individually.
