 RAMIERZ, MANUEL | | Guitars previously produced in Madrid, Spain during the early 1900s. | | Luthier Manuel Ramirez is the brother of noted Spanish classical builder José Ramirez. Several noted luthiers trained with Ramirez including Santos Hernandez, Enrique Garcia, Modesto Borreguero, and Domingo Esteso. Manuel worked with José for a few years, but after a fight between the two about moving shops, they never spoke again. Manuel built guitars until approximately the 1920s. | |
