 PEDERSON CUSTOM GUITARS | | Formerly the Abyss Guitar Company. Instruments currently produced in Forest City, IA since 1997. | | Luthier Kevin L. Pederson builds custom acoustic, electric solidbody, electric hollowbody, and bass guitars. Pederson founded Abyss guitars in 1997 and built under that trademark through early 2008 when he changed the name of his company to Pederson Custom Guitars. While all of Pederson's guitars are custom orders, they do offer a few standard models. Features of Pederson's guitars that make them unique include the highly figured tops and the ornate fingerboard inlays.
