PHIL Instruments previously produced in South Korea by the Myung Sung Music Ind. Co during the 1990s and early 2000s. The Myung Sung Music Ind. Co., Ltd. is currently offering a wide range of well constructed acoustic and acoustic electric guitar models. There is a large variety of styles, configurations, colors, and affordable price points. Construction utilizes top quality laminates, rosewood, spruce, mahogany, and build quality is top shelf. Acoustic electric models have onboard equalization. Although Phil tried to find a distributor in the U.S. for many years, it is likely these guitars were never officially distributed in America.
