PALMER
Instruments currently produced in Asia since the late 1980s. Previously distributed by Chesbro Music Company of Idaho Falls, ID, and Tropical Music Corporation of Miami, FL.
Both the Chesbro Music Company and Tropical Music Corporation distributed Palmer brand acoustic and classical models. These models are geared towards the entry level or student guitarist.
During the late 1980s, Palmer offered instruments were entry level solid body guitars that feature designs based on traditional American designs. Solid body models were marketed under the trademark (or model designation) of Biscayne, Growler, Baby, and Six. The Biscayne trademark is still distributed by Tropical Music Corporation. Palmer acoustic guitars are usually priced in the used market between $75 and $250.
