 PHOENIX GUITAR COMPANY | | ACOUSTIC | Serial numbers were attached to guitars and the following scheme can be used. Seven numbers were utilized MMYYXXX with MM being the month, YY being the year, and XXX being the production number starting with 001.
The Nylon OM was shaped on the Martin Orchestra Model and featured a western red cedar top with mahogany back and sides, and a bird decal on the headstock. The price was $1,600. A Deluxe model was availble with rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard, bridge, and headstock overlay, and MOP bird decal on headstock. The price was $2,200. Other Martin copies were produced priced from $1,400 to $2,200. About 8 were built. | |
