MAUEL GUITARS Instruments currently produced in Auburn, CA since 1995. Luthier Hank Mauel builds high-quality acoustic guitars out of the highest quality traditional tonewoods in a variety of styles. Model styles include the OM, Deep Bodied OM, 0, 00, 000, 12-fret, 12-fret dreadnought, dreadnought, grand auditorium, grand concert, parlor, and small jumbo. As of April, 2007, Mauel is back to building instruments full-time as he temporarly cut back his production for 2006 and part of 2007.
