His building is informed by extensive experience in restoring master instruments by both historic and contemporary makers, and his guitars have been exhibited at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, played on recordings by Douglas Woodful Harris and Alex Degrassi, and gained him mention as one of America's seventeen best classical guitar makers by Musician Magazine.
