MAIZE, DAVE ACOUSTIC & ACOUSTIC BASS Dave Maize instruments typically have spruce, redwood or cedar tops and bodies of figured claro walnut, bigleaf maple, myrtlewood, or other select woods. Standard features include solid wood construction (including binding), Sperzel locking tuners, double action truss rod, bolt-on walnut neck, and a beautiful peghead inlay. Maize offers several custom options (cutaway body, electronics, etc.). Acoustic models include the Auditorium Model (MSR starts at $4,150), Dread Model (MSR starts at $4,250), and the Baritone (MSR $4,00). Acoustic bass guitars include a four-string (MSR starts at $4,500) and five-string with a high C string (MSR starts at $4,800).
