MOSSMAN
ACOUSTIC
In 1975, a fire started in the finishing area at Mossman Guitars. While no employees were hurt and the machinery suffered minor losses, the company's supply of Brazilian rosewood was depleted. Models that featured Brazilian rosewood before the fire were converted to Indian rosewood after the fire (a minor instrument dating tip).
