MEGAS GUITARS | ACOUSTIC | Megas currently builds three archtop models. All his guitars have hand carved Spruce tops, hand carved, highly figured maple backs with matching sides, solid ebony fingerboard, bridge, pickguard, and peg overlay, figured hard maple neck and adjustable truss rod, high gloss Nitro-cellulose lacquer finish, and come with a five-ply hardshell case. All models are made in 16 in., 17 in., and 18 in. bodies. The Athena is classically styled with multi-lined plastic bindings throughout; split block MOP inlays on fingerboard; abalone dot side position markers; X-bracing; MOP nut; precision machined brass tailpiece construction with ebony overlay; and Schaller tuning machines with ebony buttons. List prices range from the 16 in. body width ($8,200), 17 in. width ($8,600), and the 18 in. width ($9,300). The Apollo features wood bindings, abalone, dot side position makers, X-bracing; cello style f-holes, MOP nut, precision machined brass tailpiece construction with ebony overlay, and Schaller tuning machines with ebony buttons. List prices range from the 16 in. body width ($7,200), 17 in. width ($7,575), and the 18 in. width ($8,200). The Spartan has a single bound body, neck, and peg head, parallel bracing, bone nut, ebony tailpiece with brass anchor, and gold Gotoh tuning machines.
