 MATON | | ACOUSTIC | | Maton has been focused on producing quality acoustic guitars for the past several years. Current models feature Canadian Sitka spruce tops, Queensland maple and walnut as well as Tasmanian and Victorian blackwood on the back and sides. Other timbers include Brazilian and Indian rosewood, and rock maple. Most models feature solid wood back and sides. the acoustic/electric models feature an installed AP5 pickup and on-board preamp built by Australian piezo manufacturer GEC-Marconi. Maton's guitars retail starting at $799 and climb up to $4,200. | |
