MANZER GUITARS | ACOUSTIC: FLATTOP SERIES | There are several Manzer flattop models, each with their own "personality." Prices start over $18,000. Again, construction features aged spruce or Western cedar, Indian rosewood, and ebony. Manzer's most popular model, the Manzer Steel String has a 25.5 in. scale, rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard. The Baritone features a longer 29 in. scale. The longer scale supports the lower tuning (either low B to B, or low A to A) thus giving guitars access to a fuller voice. Back and sides are constructed of curly koa, and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony. The Cowpoke shares construction similarities with the standard Manzer, but features a larger and deeper body. Original inspiration was derived from a tall guy who wanted a Manzer, only bigger! The Classical offers a design that accommodates both traditional classical playing and modern jazz styles. A 12-string configuration flattop is also offered. The Little Manzer Steel and the Little Manzer Classical are also available. | |
