Lone Star guitars are produced in the mountain village of Paracho, Mexico, which has a two-hundred-year heritage of guitar building. Lone Star guitars are available with laminate, solid cedar, or solid spruce tops and are designed for the beginning to intermediate student. Besides guitars, they also produce a variety of other instruments including requintos, mandolins, and bajo sextos. The Dallas dreadnought model retails for $475. The San Marcos Classical retails for $199 and the El Paso classical retails for $475. Prices on the other models run from $150 to $500.
