LEVIN | ACOUSTIC | Levin built very good quality single cutaway, one (or two) pickup archtops between the 1930s and the 1960s, as well as flattop guitars, banjos, mandolins, lutes, and other stringed instruments. It is estimated that the company built more than 560,000 instruments while in business. The Model 119 was one guitar to be made by Levin and it featured a small, narrow-waisted, folk six-string, solid spruce top, 12/18 neck with dot position markers, three-per-side tuners, no pickguar, red and green rosette. Values are still unknown on used Levin instruments. | |
