KISO GUITARS
Instruments previously produced in Japan during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Previously Distributed by Go-En International in Glen Ellen, CA.
Kiso Guitars was a collaboration between luthiers of the Kiso Valley in Japan and Steve Klein in California. They teamed up to produce the KisoKlein guitar, which had several unique features including a neck joint that bolts on with no heel and an Impedance matching bridge. The Kiso name came from the Kiso Valley of Japan where many fine examples of woodworking came from. Kiso sold guitars at a "Players's price," which means if the guitar was purchased at a dealer or through Kiso, the buyer paid the same price.
