HOUND DOG
Instruments previously produced in Gardena, CA during the late 1960s and in Japan during the mid-1970s.
The Dopyeras introduced the Hound Dog trademark under OMI (Original Musical Instruments) as a line of resonator guitars. In the mid-1970s, the Hound Dog trademark was used on a line of Japanese flattop acoustic guitars. Most guitars can be identified by the Hound Dog logo on the headstock.
