HAUVER GUITARS Acoustic guitars currently produced in Sharpsburg, MD. Luthier Michael Hauver builds acoustic guitars with the famous ladder bracing of the 1920s and 1930s. Hauver started repairing and restoring guitars several years ago and after attending Charles Fox's American School of Lutherie in 1999, he decided to start building his own guitars. He was inspired by the Stella guitars of the 1920s that feature ladder or lateral bracing on the top so his guitars feature this type of construction.
