HENRY GUITAR COMPANY
ACOUSTIC
Jeff Henry offered five different acoustic guitar models: the ML, his smallest instrument with lively response, LJ, a Little Jumbo that combines the balance of a ML with the power of a full body, the Jumbo, a full sized acoustic, the D, a dreadnought sized acoustic; and the SD, which is similar to the D except had sloped shoulders.
Henry guitars were offered with other custom options such as installed pickups, and additional wood choices on the soundboard, or back and sides. These are some of the option prices for the guitars:
All five models were available in either the Standard or Deluxe package, and the prices included a hardshell case. The Standard package (last retail was $1,500) had a Sitka spruce or western red cedar soundboard, mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, pearl dots inlay, ivoroid or tortoiseshell body binding, a herringbone rosette, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and Grover tuners. More upscale was the Deluxe package (last retail was $2,100). The Deluxe offers the same Sitka spruce or western red cedar soundboard, a mahogany back with a hardwood backstrip, mahogany sides, a bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, abalone diamond inlays, abalone bridge inlay, rosewood or maple mitered body binding, an abalone rosette, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and Schaller tuners.
