GRIMSHAW | Instruments previously produced in England between the 1950s and the late 1970s. | While this company is best known for its high quality archtop guitars, they also produced a notable semi-hollowbody design in the mid-1950s called the Short-Scale. In the early 1960s, Emile Grimshaw introduced the Meteor solid body guitar. The company then focused on both original and copies of American designs from the late 1960s on.
