GOODMAN GUITARS
Instruments currently built in Brewster, NY.
Luthier Brad Goodman took to woodworking in his early childhood, and by the end of high school had completed several guitars and mandolins. Over the past twenty years, Goodman has continued to refine his guitar building skills by building lutes, mandolins, and acoustic flattop and archtop guitars. Goodman is currently focusing on a series of archtop models.
Goodman archtops have similar construction features like AAA figured maple back and sides, Sitka spruce tops, three-piece curly maple necks, ebony fingerboard/tailpiece/bridge/pickguard/peghead veneers. Instruments also feature multiple-layer binding, abalone side dots, gold Schaller tuners, and clear lacquer finishes. Acoustic flattops started at $2,000 and acoustic archtops started at $2,800. Goodman also has a business that sells instrument wood. For more information visit Goodman's website or contact him directly (see Trademark Index).
