ACOUSTIC: CLASSICAL/FLAMENCO MODELS
Early classical models were simply called the CL without any designation in the model name indicating what type of back and side woods were used. Gurian also offered Flamenco guitars called the FLC, but too few of these guitars exist to establish a used market value.
CLM
- classical body style, cedar top, mahogany back and sides, wood bindings, round soundhole with rosette, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, ivory nut, slotted headstock with three-per-side open-style tuners, Brazilian rosewood bridge with an ivory saddle, Natural finish, mfg. mid 1960s-early 1980s.
CLR
- classical body style, cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, decorative wood bindings, round soundhole with rosette, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, ivory nut, slotted headstock with three-per-side open-style gold-plated tuners, Brazilian rosewood bridge with an ivory saddle, Natural finish, mfg. mid 1960s-early 1980s.
