GRAMMER
ACOUSTIC
In general, Grammer guitars can be distinguished by their batwing-shaped headstock and typically feature a crown-shaped bridge, although some may have a moustache bridge. They feature solid spruce tops, and the fingerboard inlay has dot fretmarkers with double dots at frets 3, 7, and 17 and triple dots at 12 position. The pickguards and headstock overlays were layered black on white plastic. The pickguards were asymetrical and the headstock features the name "The Grammer Guitar." Most guitars were finished in Natural but there were some unusual colorations used such as a greenburst and a bright yellow clearcoat. Chrome Grover Roto-Matic tuners were standard on most models. Early models made under RG & G ownership have a paper label in the soundhole that reads RG & G on the label. Besides the G Series that is listed, Grammer also produced the slightly smaller S Series, the 12-String R Series, the tenor T Series, and the baby B Series.
